Tercumer’s built-in translator enables you to understand content in various languages. Here’s how to make the most of it:
1. Translating a Page
- After conducting a search, click the “Translate” icon next to any result that appears in a foreign language.
- Select your desired language from the dropdown menu.
- The page will reload with translated text snippets; click “View Full Translation” to see the entire page in your chosen language.
2. Choosing Languages
By default, Tercumer attempts to detect the original language automatically. To override detection:
- Click the language dropdown in the translation toolbar.
- Select the source and target languages manually (e.g., “French to English”).
3. Translation Accuracy
Our translation engine strives for clarity and context. However:
- Idioms or cultural references may not translate perfectly.
- For technical or legal documents, cross-reference with official translations when accuracy is critical.
4. Switching Between Translations
If you need to revert to the original text or try a different language:
- Click the “Original” button to restore the page’s native language.
- Choose another language from the translation toolbar to see a new translation.
